"A lady doesn't kiss and tell," Ari said coyly before letting a self-satisfied smile spread across her face. "Fortunately for us both, I am no lady. My glow -- as you phrase it -- may perhaps not be entirely unfounded." She leaned against the bar and said, "I have had quite the last two days. More than worth that trip to the mountains."
And -- lucky, lucky her -- she was now well-acquainted with a significant number of surfaces in Aspel's apartment and shop (and, she had to admit, the rug was in fact not as evil as she had previously assumed; it was at the very least quite soft). "Feel privileged -- for anyone else, I may not have dragged myself from bed and acquired clothing this evening at all."
