Sipping her mead, she watched the three of them interact. There was little she could say for Guy's behavior, not knowing him in the slightest, but he seemed relaxed and rather easy-going. She had no doubt, of course, that he would be useful in a fight should one occur - Aspel was not the type to bring someone who would be a hindrance rather than a help on a trip of this sort, barring Vivi herself, whose damage capabilities ran hot and cold.
She laughed at Aspel's advice. "Oh," Vivi grinned. "Please do free to tell me off. But I am quite adept at getting my way, despite persistent attempts to the contrary." She winked at Aspel and raised her glass. Having someone tell her off would be quite the highlight, she thought, considering how rarely it happened. She'd not doubt that she and Aspel would be having words, later, perhaps upon their return. Another thing to look forward to, then.
Aspel, despite plenty of food before them, appeared to be more intent watching Ari and Guy, not that Vivi could blame her. This was a party of extremely attractive individuals. Guy offered Aspel the plate of root vegetables and Vivi smiled. "Please do take some, Aspel," she added. "They are quite delicious." To make her point, she speared one of the chunks on her own plate and brought it to her lips.
