Having just traveled the week prior, she was already in the frame of mind for what the roads would bring. She had assented to coming along as she'd a contact in the area, although with the unfortunate events of earlier in the week, she'd had little time to contact him to set up their meeting. So, as they were on the road, she busied herself with her network device, exchanging curt messages with the man, who she was beginning to realize was trying to fleece her.
Well, he'd learn soon enough.
Her chocobo, Lady - given to her and named by her late husband; she'd always hated the bird's name but didn't have the heart to rename her - was moody. She was not used to so much exercise and made her thoughts on the matter quite clear, if the bumpier-than-expected ride was any indication.
It was a relief to finally reach the town. Guy, a charming and attractive man, offered to carry some of her luggage, which she graciously accepted. No sense in expending more energy than necessary, especially not with the evening looming and her meeting with Lea impending. She'd need what energy she had.
The room mix up amused her, if she was honest. There was some... tension between Arielle and Aspel, which piqued her intrigue. Arielle seemed quite normal and pleasant with Vivi herself, and was quite charming with Guy, but it seemed a bit strained with Aspel.
When the room mix up was brought to light, Vivi smiled. "I've nothing against rooming with Guy," she announced, turning to the man in question. "I'm sure he'll ever be the gentleman."
