Party summon: Mag/Sabina/Flynn/Kiernan/Rhys
The loss of his spear was not a heartbreaking one -- a weapon was a tool, and it hadn't been an expensive or customized one at that. With the white mage's spells washing over him, knitting his wounds, he felt his second wind coming on enough to better dodge the three-headed freak's attacks, and he caught Mag's eye in time to catch her offered spear.
"Wouldn't dream of losing it," he promised her with a wink. Leave it to Mag to keep his spirits up even in a tough battlefield like this. Damn but he wished Lucy could be in here.
He stepped back a few paces to give himself the room he needed for another Double Jump; it was the best attack he had on him, and if the mage girl kept flinging spells and Mag kept firing at the creature, then maybe he had a chance at landing another blow. Hopefully, this time, it would stick; he just needed to put in some extra strength behind his attack and aim it just right. So, with that, he ran and made the leap.
