Party summon: Mag/Sabina/Flynn/Kiernan/Rhys
"Well, it was worth a try," Sabina muttered, pivoting on her heel as the demoness brought her swords to bear. Nothing in Lady Amarinta's narrative had suggested the guardian would be open to dialogue, but if a bloodbath could be avoided it had seemed like the way to go. Alas.
Turning into an elaborate series of hand gestures, Sabina reached deep within herself to find her faith, the gleaming bit of hope that Faram had kindled within her as a child. Even now, so many years later, after so many disappointments, that bright ember still burned. Her love for her God burned inside her like a fire, and she would kindle it into an inferno. They will need us, she told Faram, quietly in her heart.
A Haste spell was simple enough to work, though she was no Time Mage, and it burst into life within her, her blood thrumming with power as she felt her heart set to beating fast and even. It was already obvious that she would likely wear herself out healing before the day was through -- and the quicker she could fire off those spells, the better.
