Party summon: Mag/Sabina/Flynn/Kiernan/Rhys
It seemed the guardian wasn't looking for a straight-up answer. As the blade fell, Mag rolled to the side, out of its destructive path, and spotted the beasts rushing out of the side passages.
They had walked right into the enemy's trap—but they were going to walk out, and they would do so with the cure in hand, whether this guardian wanted to give it or not.
"Watch the flanks!" she shouted as the horde filled the room. "Keep those things away from us!"
Her sentiment was echoed by several others, and even as she gave the order the volunteers were already splitting into groups, the better to deal with the threat. Everyone knew what was at stake.
Mag ran to stand in front of Sabina. They couldn't allow to let their healers fall—without them, it was a lost cause. She held her spear in a guard position and glared up at the guardian. It seemed ready to attack again.
"All right, bitch." Her grip on the weapon tightened. "Let's rumble."
The others who'd chosen to help her and Sabina gathered behind them. Mag took a run-up and executed a High Jump. The fight was too important to hold back.
