Ari/Gillian/Ash/Ceres/???
Ari knew she really should have expected this; the moment the creature came into sight, she had realized just how right she had been when she had told Bella that this would not be her first battle of this variety. And while it would be nice to think that other such creatures had more sense (and less of a temper) than Ifrit, she had to assume that the supplication by the white mage would be summarily ignored.
What she hadn't expected was the flood of monsters, but she knew what they had to do, of course.
As the group split off in a three-pronged attack, she was both relieved and concerned to find herself moving away from Mag -- who remained right in front of the beast itself. But Ifrit was already grumbling, and while she was getting better at keeping him leashed, she didn't want to give him additional reasons to fight her.
To the flank, then.
She was already singing as she kept behind the two fighters, near the mime, trying to ignore the enormous lizard bearing down on them. Nameless Song was first -- always, when faced with such odds -- to protect them and lend them additional speed. She had gone over the songs with Ash the night before -- she only hoped that in the heat of battle, the mime would remember not to mimic this one.
