Rictor/Siana/Ari
The voice was familiar, but the immediacy of the threat that loomed in the gray and white blurs disallowed Siana from being able to place it right away. As the Korporal charged forward first, Siana unsheathed her katana and tried to discern the creature's weak points. It was difficult, even without the blizzard, for she had never faced a foe quite like this before, and the Korporal's attack seemed to do little good besides. They would need to do more than simply attack it, but how, Siana was at a loss for how to do it. Her skillset was sorely limited.
But, neither could she do nothing. There was some damage done, and all they needed to do was outlast the creature.
Their new companion seemed a bard, though was she a wayward traveler or one who had come out here to help and gotten separated from her party, Siana didn't know. Hopefully, she could fill in where she and the Korporal lacked, regardless, and even more so, that she stay unharmed, regardless of whether she be a bard with battle capabilities or one not at all.
The beast reared back to attack, and it was the moment of vulnerability, even if it was protected by its own magicks. Siana dashed forward and pierced the tip of her sword into its underarm, and it stumbled back. Surprised, perhaps, more than injured, but it was enough to distract it from attacking. It was enough for another strike, but the beast recovered more quickly than Siana expected and it counterattacked with a swipe from its heavy shovel.
