Gale wondered if she was making the right move in this case, though she supposed that the method she had in mind could only be useful, not harmful. As it was, it was not like Merrion was in any real danger, she comforted herself, glancing at the fairly open and innocuous courtyard in which they stood. "Worry not," she said, waving a hand in the air. "I am not going to be bribing you with anything. It is more like -- making the success of your spell a necessity."
At that, Gale placed her hand around her own staff, raising her eyebrows.
"I will need your permission and trust in order to do this," she said, "do you give it to me?"
