If it hadn't been Gale, it was very likely that Merrion's enthusiasm, his brightness and his verve, were all contagious. But Gale had a way of dampening any cheerful spirits coming her way with that stoic expression of hers, only allowing the briefest flickers of smiles and sighs. Now, there was a small curve of the lips, but it was gone as soon as it came, hidden beneath the straight line of her mouth.
"The same way that you start with a Cure," Gale said simply. "I am assuming that you have read up on the basics of the Esuna spell? It is quite similar to Cure in that you are channeling the same kind of energy but the focus is different. Rather than on mending, the focus is on cleansing, so to speak." As she spoke, Gale moved to stand next to Merrion, tapping her staff on the ground with each step towards him. "Channel your white magic with that in mind."
