Gale did not say much, just let her eyes flicker in surprise when the spell showed up -- for some reason, she had expected some spectacular show of magical artistry. Not... this -- this sad little spell which basically flopped into existence, though at the very least, it had come to exist. Perhaps she had more cut out for herself than she had initially assumed.
Still, she couldn't hide some of the disbelief that crept onto her face, despite her practiced expression of disinterest. This was all a bit unbelievable for her, especially when she had spent so much time aspiring to be like the Council Members -- to find that they had weaknesses was, well, common sense but also a little disarming.
"We work with what we have," she said, though whatever little enthusiasm she had was now gone. She readied her own staff, softly whispering 'Esuna' under her breath; the spell rose and shivered in the air before bathing over the two of them. Gale shivered when she felt the familiar cleanse of the spell, not unlike chewing spearmint if doing so resulted in a whole-body experience. "If the spell is done correctly, it should look and feel like this," she noted. "You can cast Cure, so you can definitely perform an Esuna spell."
