Gale's face adopted a pinched look as she tried to imagine teaching Merrion in the middle of the lobby. Of course, it was no comment on his presumed skill -- he was undoubtedly skilled, being a council member -- but moreso a reflection of Gale's need to exercise caution at all times. Even more than what might be actually needed, one could say.
"I do not think doing so would be the most prudent course of action," she said carefully, glancing around. "Might I suggest heading outside? Perhaps somewhere with less foot traffic."
And then, she hurriedly added, "This is, of course, not because I do not trust you so much as I think that our lesson could benefit from as much silence as possible. The less distraction, the easier it is to do something, or so I find for myself."
