Okay, so she did end up needing to be carried tonight, after all - but she couldn't deny that it felt nice in its way. She had a bit of a weakness for being swept up - probably why she tended to focus most of her flirtations of warriors of various sorts. "You are actually too nice sometimes," she murmured, but it was so soft that it was entirely possible that Aspel didn't hear or didn't quite make out the words.
She was even helping with her shoes. Really, who else was this nice without wanting something in return? It was almost unbelievable.
At Aspel's question, though, she began to laugh. She laughed so hard that she actually broke out into intermittent giggles and hiccups. Finally, she managed to get out "Since I - I don't own any and - and this wasn't supposed to be that kind of visit..." She could barely get her laughter under control. Was Aspel thinking to undress her like a doll, put her into a nightgown, and tuck her into bed? She wasn't sure whether to be charmed, insulted, or just... amused. She settled for the latter. "I'm fine," she repeated once she had gotten the laughter out. She dragged the blanket around her like a cocoon until she was all wrapped up in it, clearly content to sleep in her clothes. She'd send them to get washed in the morning, and a few wrinkles weren't going to destroy them. "I'm going to sleep now," she drawled. "All by myself. If you want the couch..."
