Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
Aspel couldn't help but give a low 'Mm' and what might appear to be a knowing nod. Even if, what she knew was simply that she wasn't sure she ever would have been happy if she'd taken the path her mother had preferred all those years ago. Dancers had to pay close attention to things such as reputation, vanity and whatnot just as much as Ari did, Aspel had to imagine.
"I suspect those are acceptable parameters for the night." Really, if Ari had been at drinking for any particularly lengthy period of time, it was actually a fairly decent achievement to be considered. With the other woman's direction, Aspel followed along easily and when they ran into the considerable amount of steps, a single brow arched high, questioning the situation ahead of them with a single word being spoken.
"Mm, unfortunate indeed." The smith would move to redirect Ari's arm to be slung across her shoulder if so allowed, before beginning up the stairs with the most polite asking for pardons and excusing herself for pushing up the stairs, while still not backing away from pressing forward.
