Stone accepted her hand and shook it, smiling herself. “This is definitely a deal. I won’t let you down.” And when Rosestein Stone said she would not let someone down, she meant it. When the handshake was broken, however, she stretched her back and began checking the items on her belt. The young woman rarely, if ever, removed the items from her belt when she wasn’t at home, but better safe than sorry.
“I should really be heading home, though. I need to go check on Audren’s homework—make sure he’s done it. Sometimes, he really doesn’t want to—not that I can blame him,” she added quickly.
Still smiling, she waved at Aspel. “I’ll be back after making food on Wednesday. See you then!” And she began to walk out the door.
