Aspel Cassul: When in doubt, Aspel! (weaponry) wrote in emillion,
"Are you?" Fire had been one of the first spells she had learned herself, all those years ago. It had been an excellent thing for the trade of smithing and Aspel found herself using it for work means far more often than that of actual combat. "It is a fine addition to any arsenal." Aspel paused a moment, considering what else she knew of magic. "Cure is also a good addition. If you can find someone to teach it." Though... Aspel may be able to assist with that the more she thought about it. However, if there was a mage who could do such, it would most likely be far more beneficial.
The sudden question about life sucking caused Aspel pause. Fingers tightened on the windowsill and her gaze turned outwards to the street, watching people go by for a moment. It was a difficult thing to answer at best and at worst... Well, perhaps such details would best be left untouched for this particular conversation.
"I believe it is capable of having positive moments" Even if she wasn't sure where all of them where. Certainly, she had more than enough of her own struggles and frustrations growing up and even from day to day currently.
"What would make things better for you now?" Aspel wasn't certain there was anything she could manage to do to help the girl but... You would never know unless asked.
