Riyeko/Juliette | 7:00am - Park in the Commoners' district
Juliette gladly handed the toy back. Fortunately, Boris seemed properly chastised; he didn't look happy about it, but he stayed. "Thank you for your understanding."
The offer came quite unexpectedly; she was certain the woman would simply walk away, but... "If you are certain," she said. "Boris wouldn't hurt anyone..... in these sorts of circumstances," she had to qualify it to keep herself truthful. If someone threatened her -- or her sister -- or their home -- she had no doubt Boris would be more than willing. He had been a guard dog, after all. But he was kind and obedient and good-hearted despite his fearsome appearance. "That is," she said, "he is very kind, and he likes other dogs. If you truly do not mind, perhaps they can play together for a time before we take our leave." There was still a full breakfast to be had and training to attend, after all.
