Riyeko/Juliette | 7:00am - Park in the Commoners' district
The woman didn't look happy, and who could blame her? Here were Juliette and Boris, intruding on her nice morning, when all she had wanted to do was play with her own dog...
Juliette blushed harder.
As the woman came closer, Juliette couldn't help but look at her board with continued fascination. It was the most interesting contraption, even if admiring it had been what had gotten her in this fix in the first place.
"Boris," she said, firmly and with more than a bit of exasperation, "Sit." Grudgingly, he followed her command, though he certainly did not seem happy about it. "I really am... very sorry," she said, holding out the colorful disc to the other dog's owner. Both dogs watched it with clear interest. At least they weren't growling at each other. Juliette considered just tossing the disc to appease the other dog but... well, it wasn't her place to play with him, and perhaps the woman would be upset, and what if Boris took off again...
She looked down at the other dog and offered it an apologetic but genuine smile. She was always more at ease with dogs than humans. "We both apologize for ruining your fun. We will not do it again." Her hand tightened on Boris' leash. She'd keep him under control somehow.
