"I've already done something," Cian told the man with a look that pretty clearly said, are you a moron? "My good deed for the decade - that'll teach me to help a stranger." But he got into a defensive stance; he couldn't leave the warehouse and the people in it, and this group might be helpful in some way - the fighter, at least, looked like he could handle himself. As the woman and girl began throwing spells around, he narrowed his eyes and reconsidered - they could all be helpful in some way. The girl seemed to need direction - blinded or poor eyesight? He didn't know - but she could still set things on fire.
The odds had shifted in their favor.
He tossed cards at the crabs, having learned from the fight inside to aim for their mouths. He couldn't hit them all in these conditions, but he got two while they were at a distance, moving along sluggishly. "Not bad, sugar," he told the woman, then added for the girl's benefit, "Giant toad, incoming, eleven o'clock." The crabs were closer now; withdrawing a pair of dice and blowing on them - for luck - he threw them in their general direction. An explosion of light followed - not the best option, but one more crab stopped and another faltered, and he angled himself in front of the mages, because if the fighter didn't take them out, they were going to need some cover.
