Siana/Maria/Peony/Open
It was not the first time her grandmother's blade had tasted magic, but it was something that Siana was not used to seeing herself. Nonetheless, she did not want to waste any time considering the advantages or disadvantages of it and made her attack at the strange humanoid creature hovering over a young woman who had fallen to the ground, a dagger beside her in what seemed to have been a failed attack. One swipe, and then two, and then a third and a fourth and that was all she needed to fell the creature, and Siana helped the woman to her feet.
"I can't see!" the woman cried.
Those things could blind, then. Siana gently directed her towards the inside of the city and then returned her attention to the rest of the monsters. So many more to fight, and there were many more civilians to protect. The rain dampened the fire around her blade, so she had little time before the effectiveness wore out, and she did not intend to squander it. More of those creatures were about, and there were others, too, and not all civilians could run fast enough, and those were the ones she sought to save if possible.
