Aspel/Ari/Drake - FAIRLY LATE
This night was.... Well, it was not a complete disaster, but it certainly was no wondrous eve either. It certainly would be one for the record books at the very least and Aspel had to wonder if perhaps, just perhaps, they would find a way to laugh about this at some point in their future. Maybe, one day, some day, even if she hadn't the faintest when that day might ever be, herself, Mag, Vivi and Lea could sit easily about with a few bottles of their preferred liquor, look how far forward their lives had come, and be thankful for the lessons that Faram had taught them this night.
Perhaps. Yet, tonight was not that night and Aspel could feel her blood still simmering from what this night had been. Even after her conversation with Vivi, the smith found herself incapable of completely banishing all forms of anger. Mag would understand, surely. They would need to meet after this to plan, and discuss.
However, Mag seemed indisposed at the moment. So much so, that Aspel actually was incapable of finding her altogether. Regardless of her wandering about the hall, and the few people she'd asked.
Though, it would appear that Ari and Drake were still about, and Just Aspel's luck, they had managed to find themselves not too far from each other.
Well, perhaps this would help ease her still somewhat ruffled feathers from the night. A simply approach was made, and a smile offered.
"What surprise to find you both here." It was a joke of sorts as she'd seen Ari earlier in the evening. Shifting, the smith would move to press a kiss against Drake's cheek if allowed as a hand fell to Ari's shoulder. It was an odd comfort tonight, yet not one she'd bother trying to figure out.... Not with the other events of tonight, or perhaps... Ever. Some things were just far too complicated to attempt to understand.
