She waited as Peony entered the sanctuary and lit her candle. Once the other woman knelt in prayer, Aisling entered. She watched as the first candle caught fire, and used it to light the other two before placing them all in the votives. She knelt beside Peony and offered a small prayer. She had never been much for praying.
Quietly, she stood and exited the room, leaving Peony to her prayers.
