The day had gone extremely well, and to a very tipsy Ari, this seemed the perfect way to cap it off. She had met enough real ghosts over the years to be highly skeptical of this summoning (Aud was about as much of a mage as Ari was), but that wasn't the point, either. The thought of running around the dilapidated old estate, likely scaring each other, seemed like a fun way to pass the time, and anyway, watching Cormac-the-grump participate in something so undignified as hide and seek with a doll seemed worth the price of admission all on its own.
And so she'd plucked a hair from her own head and offered it willingly, with a grin. "I am fairly certain we can protect ourselves from a doll." She had even fetched her mandolin, with the thought that a ghost might not find them, but peacekeepers concerned about trespassing very well could. And if this did turn, as she suspected, into a game where they attempted to scare the other players, well...
She had a few ideas.
"We wouldn't want to die," she said dramatically. "My life, exciting as it is, has been far too short to end now."
