Amazing that she found herself in this tower after all these years of staunchly avoiding it. She had always seen it as a symbol of what her mother had wanted for her... but then, she had met a number of mages over the years, and although most of them were, indeed, repressed - with the exception of Chloe - they were not bad people. Besides, she owed a debt of a sort, silly as it was, and Ari never let a debt stand.
It was quiet inside, and most people ignored her, which allowed her to relax somewhat. She followed the directions she was given, looking warily at the waystone before she touched it. Fortunately, it felt a great deal like a teleport crystal - a moment of disorientation and she was on the second floor, seeking out the right door, hand resting protectively on the bag slung over her shoulder.
When the smiling girl opened the door, Ari found herself smiling back - though she had said on the network that she could not see, her smile was infectious. "Hello!" she responded, at a loss for a moment before she reached out her hand to grasp Quen's, a universal greeting and an appropriate one in this situation. "It's very nice to meet the creative mind behind network games," she said with a laugh. "I haven't been so entertained in... well, a good long while." Minus the chat with Aspel, but after the rather eventful night she had had, she was feeling far better about all of that.
