Foxe raised a brow. That Lavitz believed himself to have hit rock bottom was news to him, and not something he especially liked hearing. For a moment, he cast a cautious eye over Lavitz but then the look of worry passed. If he needed help, he'd ask for it, Foxe reasoned. And until then, Foxe would simply have to watch over the man from a distance, it seemed.
"No way to go but up once you've hit the bottom," Foxe said. There was a slightly awkward pause as he considered his words. "I've been low before, but it does get better with time and work."
