"I figure Mag and Manley have that covered," Foxe said. It wasn't in his nature to be insufferable and though Foxe didn't know the extent of Lavitz's depression, he could tell the man was in no mood for forced cheeriness and hadn't been for a while, pretend or no. "I'm just going to tell you that if you're not enjoying yourself this evening that you should go. I'll start a distraction if you need." Foxe smiled a small, easygoing sort of smile.
"If it comes to it," he said, grin growing with each word, "I'll probably be able to put them in holding for the night." Drunk tanks existed for nights like Bierfest. "Hopefully it won't come to that, of course." Foxe hoped that Lavitz could simply find something to enjoy or get pleasantly drunk.
