Ari/Aud/Miles | 12:00pm
"Sounds harmless enough," Ari agreed. It seemed both parties were willing to play along with her idea, which suited her perfectly. Win or lose, it ought at the very least be a good time, and that was what she lived for, in the end.
"Elderly," she repeated with a roll of her eyes. What was it with people insisting they were old when they weren't? She would never understand. "If I win, Miles will have to back up his words and walk with a cane for a week, and I'll take a promise of dinner -- something nice, mind -- from you, Aud." After all, she imagined Miles had already split the duties of his stakes as well, even if he hadn't said anything -- might as well be clear.
Not that she anticipated winning this. She might be able to school Sky, but she was no street thief, in the end.
