super lavitz, the hero of bahamut (gripes) wrote in emillion, |
Festivities, for whatever reason, had never been a big hit with Lavitz, not even as a boy. He supposed it had to do with his noble upbringing and that inherent fear that one wrong move would infuriate those who called themselves his family, because for as much as he pretended their opinions didn't matter, it was a different story when faced with their disapproval and (undeserved) judgement.
But the simplest reason was: he just couldn't enjoy them anymore, and the only excuse he needed to attend was that his friends had asked and he couldn't say no.
Mid-afternoon found the dragoon wandering the district without aim, looking only to kill time and avoid the estate for as long as his sister was there. Bierfest was too rowdy a celebration for his liking, but he figured he'd find those welcome distractions when everything got too loud. As if on cue, a particular person's profile came into view, and so he sidled over, falling into step with the older Rider.
