Ari/Aud/Miles | 12:00pm
Beer or no beer, Ari couldn't pass up an opportunity to spend a little time with Audrey. It was harder to show up at her window (or her door) with a bottle of wine to gossip and drink away half the night now. But Juliette had remained home, it seemed, and Audrey, even when she was trying very hard to present herself as Alys, was still the best sort of company.
And that was why they were here, walking among the stalls of beer-sellers arm in arm, seeking their next entertainment. Ari had to admit, the fact that everyone felt uninhibited to drink during the day was certainly a point in Bierfest's favor. It was just a shame that it was almost all beer.
"So," she said, calculating just how much time they had before she had to excuse herself to meet Aspel, "I was thinking, perhaps we ought to..." A figure was making its way though the crowd. The clothing was nondescript, the hairstyle not the least bit stylish, the gait carefully matched to the role he played, but the face was familiar, and the way he was comporting himself... "Pause a moment," Ari finished, nodding her head discreetly towards the man just down the road. Her instinct was to approach him -- she and Miles got on famously, always -- but she thought she would wait and see whether Aud's temper had cooled, first. The idea of pulling them off of each other as both parties attempted murder did not appeal.
