Merri/Ophion - noon
"O-Ophion!" Merri yelped, taking a step back from the older man. He kept his eyes on his food more out of guilt than anything; he knew Ophion did not think of him fondly, and Merri wished he knew how to change his mind -- and what Merri had done to offend the other red mage so. "I'm-- I'm really sorry! I wasn't-- I'll be more careful! I hope I didn't... that is, I didn't mean to...!"
He bit his lip and shifted uncomfortably in his shoes. "I... I didn't expect to see you out here today! Are you enjoying yourself?" Merri's smile was timid yet hopeful as he lifted his eyes to meet Ophion's. Maybe it was a good chance to make conversation with his fellow red mage.
