Huh. "Not bad, kid!" Felicity told him. She'd seen him pause and think it through rather than just jumping in, fists flying. It was little moments like this that made her think the kid could really shape up to something, if he put the effort in. Anyone could learn to punch hard. It was a little rarer to find someone with the patience to figure out exactly where to hit so they didn't need that strength.
"Keep it pinned for me," she instructed, pulling her staff's holster over her head and kneeling to wrap it round the creature's legs. "Don't want all your hard work to go to waste!" Standing, she ruffled his hair for good measure. "Now let's drag it back where it belongs."
She turned to the bard. "Thanks for the assist," Felicity said. "Sure sped things up a touch."
