amos/kiernan | bazaar
The queue was particularly long today. Although there was much grumbling amongst the other bazaar-goers, Amos stood contently at the end of the line. The priest was off to visit the orphanage children today, and accordingly, he was dressed in civilian attire. The starched and threadbare fabrics of the secondhand garb grated where they met his skin; he paid the discomfort little heed.
Thus, easily was offered a polite smile as the approaching draggon took the next place in line. "We are of a like mind today, it seems," he quipped with a mild gesture at Kiernan's basket. Like the taller man's, Amos's basket was filled with fresh fruit.
