Aspel quirked a brow at Quen's words, letting the others easily speak before her, a passive comment would be made as she ordered a tea with ginseng. Certainly, that would assist in getting her through the bulk of work after this meeting. Then she'd revert to coffee and long nights.
"We are a rather foolish lot." Aspel couldn't help but agree with an abundance of good humor present in the words. "I think we'd lose our heads without the aid of the mage's and bard's guilds." Shifting in her chair, legs crossed. A sidelong look aimed to Elvira. "In fact, it may be to our benefit to show some of that gratitude. Perhaps we could even convince the Riskbreaker of as much?" With that thought out, and beginning to move past her idle amusement, the honestly of youth was often under appreciated.

"We should find some time to discuss a possible joint venture soon, and Peony," Aspel's gaze shifted again. "has your rod been of sufficient stock thus far?"
