"Scheitholt," Merri repeated with a slow nod. He knew that a trip to the library sometime later tonight -- or perhaps tomorrow, he corrected himself with a blush -- to look into this instrument more would happen. He hadn't heard of it before, but he was very curious about it but he was still too shy to bombard Ari with the questions he had. "Well, you do sound great on it already! I can't imagine ever trying to play something like this. I fear I'd break all the strings!" He shyly chuckled, though there was a small flinch as he imagined one of the strings snapping on his fingers.
The name Rin surprised him. "Rin? This might sound crazy, but... Rin Yukimura? The dancer from Hana?" He didn't go to Hana very often; the splurge was something he only ever afforded himself twice, but he had seen Rin perform elsewhere many times before until they finally met and became friends. "I-- I know it's probably... silly for me to ask that. Just because you're both performers, and there could be more people named Rin, I just thought I..." He trailed off, clearing his throat. "But that sounds exciting, all the places you went! How was the concert? And I bet that mountain chalet was beautiful! Snow already though?"
"I'm sure he will," Merri said, his smile brightening. "He seems really... exhausted?" It seemed an odd thing to say, considering what the two of them had been up to since Wil's return -- and another blush covered his cheeks. "But soon he'll want to see everyone, I just know it! I really don't mean to hog him for myself!" Not that Merri minded that the captain is spending a lot of his time with him in the Tower, of course.
