Foxe/Ari | Commoners’ District | 12:30pm
The meaningless flirtation that Arielle threw his way was never especially welcome, but Foxe was well in the habit of shrugging it off. He knew it was harmless, but it seemed somehow improper for him to do anything else. Though he didn't know her exact age, he knew she was young enough to be his daughter. That meant he had to be the adult in the situation.
And so he smiled at her pleasantly and all but ignored the teasing purr in her voice. "One drink at lunch is acceptable, or so I've been led to believe," he said, raising his mug at her. "Though I think you may be exaggerating by calling it a momentous occasion." He thought for a half a second before continuing, not wanting to give her even an inch by accidentally flirting back, "I have missed all the people I call friend, Arielle. How have you been?"
