Cian & Drake | Bazaar District 12:30pm
At that point, there was nothing for it but to reply. "Cian," he said, then after a pause, "Wilde. Good to meet you. Officially." Their first meeting could hardly count as an introduction.
And, considering this guy was a friend of the debtor as well as powerful and important, might as well back off now. Beau hadn't done anything to warrant Cian looking into his friends, though he did make a mental note of it. "Mind if I go on ahead?" he asked, perfunctorily really since he'd technically been first in the door. "I'll take half a dozen of those," he told the person behind the counter, pointing at the cinnamon ones -- he wasn't much for chocolate. "Wrap them up to go for me?" He'd get through them eventually. He fished out the money, dropped it on the counter, thinking that Beau would probably never know he'd come by.
Once he had his cookies in hand, he looked at the man again, nodded his head in something like politeness. "Good luck to you. Stay out of fires."
