Penny/Rena/Open(?) - Late Day
The voice in it's proximity had easily caught Penny's attention. She didn't react at first, mostly because it was simply how she was addressed. A moment later, she looked about to see who had addressed whom and found the woman looking at her. Then she blinked. "Ah, hello, ma'am." She allowed herself to have a pleasant smile surface. "Thank you for the compliment." Her voice was soft and friendly. That's what humility sounded like? Ah, she forgot the self-deprecating shyness. She would work that in the next round.
Sometimes expressing proper emotions came easy. Sometimes it was just work. While many would deem a woman dressed as the one she talked about not worth the time, Penny knew differently. Everyone was worth the time and effort. Everyone made up Emillion, not just those who were dressed in fine silks and oiled their hair.
