Merri/Guy | late morning
Guy hadn't felt the need to make plans for the festival. Moving energetically from one activity to another, never to be weighed down to any group or event too long, he found the freedom more to his preference. By late morning he had wandered from one curious booth to the next, and already had a bag full of goods was kept nestled underneath one arm.
Best to buy in the morning, he knew, when all the farmers and vendors still carried their best produce and wares. This festival was quite different than the one he knew as a child, but those memories were distant in his mind, his focus drawn keenly to the present.
It didn't stop him from bumping into people in the crowds, however. Guy took a quick step back, offering his best apologetic expression--which quickly turned to surprise. "Merri!"
"Are you alright?" He put his hand on the other man's shoulder. "Say now, weren't you going to be out of the city today?"
