Audrey/Saito | late evening
Throughout the night she had spent her time from suitor to suitor-- the race for the Coulombe fortune had been reset from younger daughter to the eldest daughter. Juliette’s suitors had merely moved from preying on the sixteen-year-old girl to the twenty-five-year-old. It was fascinating if anything, Audrey thought. With each man she came to learn more and more of the poor struggles her younger sister had been put up against. Thankfully now she could lessen the stress on her. And while this ordeal was amusing at first, she knew three weeks in she would tire of these farce men attempting their way into her father’s money.
The most important lesson she had ever known was sternly followed: trust no one.
Her mob of admirers had grown exponentially throughout the night. While she would excuse herself from one, another would catch her on her way somewhere else. It hadn’t been until she had finally made herself to the hallway that she seemed to have finally gotten some privacy for herself. She had been about to quietly cheer for herself when an arm had reached out and pulled her into a bedroom.
The arm pressed against her throat, and shock had set in. Her eyes were glued on the face across from hers. Something told her this wasn’t a suitor. Her hands came up to try and push the weight off. “Get the fuck off me,” she growled. She wasn’t afraid, that was evident with the look in her eyes. She could take him, she thought. Dress and heels, she was sure she could take him. “My name is Alys and if I were you, I would leave.”
