Morgayne managed to keep her jaw from dropping, but the shock sent her eyebrows rising incredulously.
"Oh."
She took another sip of her coffee. Her first instinct was to ask a barrage of questions until Juliette's statement—my sister is not dead—began to make sense. She trusted her friend to tell her the truth (or at least, what she believed to be the truth), but there was no getting around the fact that her claim seemed impossible.
"How?" she asked, finally. "How did you meet? How did you know it was her?"
