"You have the sort of job that does not allow one much time to oneself, I would imagine," Peony said. In that way, she knew she was blessed - although council duties and teaching kept her occupied, she also had large swaths of time to call her own. "But then, I suppose it is a rewarding occupation." Being able to assist people was always a noble goal; it was why she was quick to volunteer her services when the Knights of the Peace required assistance.
"I really do love them all," Peony said of the books with a thoughtful look. "Perhaps Silent Winter is my very favorite. I will have to give you my copy before you go. You will excuse, I hope, notes in the margins? I know that some people find this distracting."
