Then again, the rare occasions that people who had known her for years saw her shopping for groceries -- a more common sight as of late -- they tended to react in a similar manner, so she supposed she could guess.
"Quite a lovely day," she agreed. How easily she slipped into the social niceties of their class. Talk of the weather was easy, automatic, and even a little comforting. "I hope this afternoon finds you well?"
