Kiernan/Juliette | Commoners’ District – Park | 11:00am
Returning to a city full of mages was not precisely what Kiernan had wanted to come back to after a long three days away. What were they all doing outside the tower? Was it being fumigated or something? If he'd taken the time to inspect closely he might have realized that most of those he passed were not from Emillion, or even from Valendia, but his panicked heart sent him into the nearest guildhall for his much deserved shower.
The warm water soothed him a little and he almost spent the rest of the day in the guildhall trying to find someone, anyone, to spar against, but the day was too nice to be cooped up inside even if the streets were full of people who more than likely hated his entire being (again, if he looked harder, he might have realized that most of them had no idea who he even was, though it was still hard to shake nearly two decades of paranoid habits). Besides, there wasn't going to be many days like this too soon, and the fresh air would be a coveted thing. There was no need to waste it indoors until the winter.
With a grin, he plunged outside, the thoughts of his new residence overshadowing the presence of mages around him. Maybe he could swing by the house briefly. He was to move in soon -- not that he had much to his name to move in -- but just seeing it again would be a comfort. He took the scenic route that had him go near the playground, and he nearly did a double-take at who he saw on the swings.
Was that...?
No, it couldn't be. She was hardly the type to skip out on training. And yet, there she was, looking lost in thought. Did something happen?
