Peony/Lionel/Merri | late morning | G?
Peony smiled at both of the men who had joined her at her chosen table. Merrion seemed a bit nervous, which was probably to be expected, considering the task yet before him today. Perhaps this short respite would help to relax him.
"They look delicious," she said to Lionel of the pastries. She gave no sign of amusement at his explanation, instead reaching to take one for herself. "I was just thinking that I might be hungry, in fact," she said. "It is as though you have read my mind. Thank you. Would you like to share my tea in return? I am certain they will give me another cup." A pause as everyone settled before she added, "I believe we will all be guilty of spending unintentionally at least once over the course of this event -- I am afraid the machinist wares may be my undoing. I have a friend exhibiting a spell effect expander, and I must admit, I would find such an item extraordinarily useful in the field."
