Siana/Foxe | evening
This kind of revelry was even less her scene than any party in the Nobles District, though she admitted that she found a greater comfort at Guild gatherings. Nobody cared about appearances and so she did not have to waste gil on a brand new dress for every occasion, the call for decorum was far more liberal and so she did not have to watch every word that slipped past her mouth, and the people were generally more honest, even when they lied, and everyone stood at more or less equal footing. The only ones who judged her for her parents' indiscretions were those she did not have to interact with here, and everyone else judged her purely on her own merits.
For that reason, though the rowdiness was hardly what she would consider "fun," she went straight for Bahamut Hall immediately after her patrol to take part in the celebrations. It was still for appearance's sake and she didn't intend to stay long, but it was far less a chore than the other social obligations she'd had to attend lately, and it was easy accepting a mug of mead.
She hung back along the walls of the hall and watched as her guildmates enjoyed their evening. She nodded at many of her fellow peacekeepers as they passed her and she chatted briefly with Rangers she had once squired with and sparred against. She refrained from rolling her eyes whenever a group of Dragon Riders near her burst out into drunken song, though she was mildly surprised to see that Manley was not among those who led them into verse.
Well, perhaps Faram really did allow her a break sometimes.
After taking another sip of her mead, she looked up to see a familiar face come her way. She had seen Ade Foxe's return from sabbatical on the network, but she had been too busy to reply to it, a regret she hoped to rectify now. She released her back from the wall and bowed her head.
"Sir, it is a pleasure and an honor to see you've returned."
