She grabbed the apple and passed it over just as there was a knock on the door. She stood up, leaving the device in Wil's hands whether or not he was going to pretend to want it. "Take a look," she told him, "see if you find anyone you know." She busied herself with the delivery boxes and disposable utensils, bringing over meat, potatoes, and some sort of vegetable medley - she thought that Wil would like the meal, minus perhaps the squash, but beggars couldn't be choosers.
