"I was running errands today," she explained, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as she did so. Lex looked up to the sky as well, catching the stars in the formation of a lion, and moving her gaze to other constellations nearby.
By the end of the day, she certainly felt more confident in the quest she had undertaken--especially as it had proven a success. With all letters now properly delivered, the old woman would not have to concern herself with alternate and likely very costly methods of delivering them.
"Not for myself, of course," she added. "It was a very informative experience."
At once she remembered a particularly interesting encounter during that day, and Lex turned her attention from the stars to Storm. "I believe I've met a friend of yours as well."
