Lex/Kiernan | Shieldwyrm Hall
It'd been too long since Kiernan had sparred anyone who wasn't a squire or fresh-faced dragoon. While roaming the halls of Shieldwyrm trying to find work to occupy himself before his date with Mag later that evening, he stumbled upon a friendly face he hadn't seen since he left the Rangers. Once they caught up, they decided that for old times' sake, they ought to spar, and so, they did.
They matched well, but after all the bruises and cuts, Kiernan did not come out victorious. He laughed it off easily enough; considering that his battle experiences have not been of this caliber as of late, he really should not have expected any differently. Once they parted ways with a promise of hanging out again soon, Kiernan's stomach grumbled for lunch. Eat first and then shower, or the other way around? Surely no one would care if he was sweaty in the mess hall. He wouldn't be the only one.
Food first, then.
He left the training hall and nearly ran into a young blonde who most certainly did not look like she belonged here. Was she meeting someone? Was she lost? With a grin, Kiernan asked, "Hey, there, need help finding someone or getting somewhere?"
