Siana nodded. "Please do, and I will seek out Councilor Min to see what progress she has made, if any."
Though time was of the essence, the battle in the sewers had been brutal, and Rictor Cassul needed his rest having taken the brunt of the attacks. He may not even have had time to further his own investigation in lieu of his injuries until the past couple of days. And with Peony's busy schedule -- perhaps they were jumping the gun here, but Siana wanted to solve this mystery as quickly as they could. Emillion was a resilient city, both in infrastructure and people, but could it handle another devastating attack? Though Siana had faith in her guild and the others who would leap to the city's defenses, she knew better than to exercise blind optimism. Hope for the best and expect the worst, as they said.
Siana pulled out the sketches from the memstone. "We'll look over these again, make sure we didn't miss anything." Then they'd examine the physical evidence that they were able to bring back with them. Though she'd been thorough, sometimes even the best trained eye could miss something, and it never hurt to look again.
