Jareth shook his head. He didn't make it a point to seek out Holy men, but in this instance, it was something he was going to have to do. "Haven't had a chance to, yet," he told Banes. "Last I heard, he was on rest." They'd gotten the shit kicked out of them, that was for certain. The difference between Jareth and everyone else was that he liked it, and only momentary snatches of pleasure had dazed him, not the pain itself.
"I can go and check in with him tomorrow." There was no way he could go today; he needed to find a fucking bakery and buy Li a cake. And playing catch up with a holy knight wasn't exactly what he'd wanted to do, but by now, he'd gotten used to not doing what he wanted. In fact, most of the fucking time, he didn't even know what he wanted. Not really in the mood to figure it out, either.
